About Stan

Stan Brown has been working with job seekers since 1992.

He loves being helpful to people.

He brings to his practice many years of business experience working both as a professional and a consultant. His work experiences included General Mills, General Motors, Group Health (now Health Partners), Honeywell, Litton Microwave Cooking, Polaroid and Toro. Consulting clients included 3M, Allina, Dain Rauscher (now RBC Wealth Management), Donaldson, Hartford Life Insurance, Health Partners, Jostens, Miracle-Ear, Parker-Hannifin, Taylor, and Wagner Spray Tech.

Functional areas include: accounting/finance, advertising, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, marketing research, medical services, planning, product management, promotion, and sales.

Stan has an MBA from Harvard Business School, with an emphasis in marketing and finance, in addition to a mechanical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Stan is the founder of the Minneapolis Job Support Workshop for Managers, Professionals and Others, a non-profit skill-building and support group for job seekers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
